Sammohak Salon is a luxury unisex salon at Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, operating the website sammohaksalon.in. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Sammohak Salon; "you" refers to any client or visitor to our salon or website.

Newsletter — your email address, when you choose to subscribe for offers and salon news.
In-salon records — your service history, stylist preferences, product and colour formulas, and anything you tell us about allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions relevant to a treatment.
Photographs — before-and-after or styling photos, taken only with your permission (see the section on photographs below).
Technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, referring page and the pages you view, collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or bank passwords. Payments are made in person at the salon.

To confirm, reschedule or remind you about an appointment — usually by WhatsApp or a phone call.
To answer your enquiry and give you accurate pricing or advice.
To maintain your service history so a stylist can repeat a colour, cut or treatment correctly on your next visit.
To keep you safe — flagging a known allergy or sensitivity before a service begins.
To send offers, packages and salon news, only if you have subscribed or are an existing client (you can opt out any time).
To understand how our website is used and improve it.
To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

04Photographs & Social Media

We love showing our work, but never at the cost of your privacy. A photograph of you or of your hair, skin, nails or bridal look is published on our website, Instagram or Facebook only after you have agreed to it.

You may withdraw that permission at any time. Write to sammohaksalon@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp and we will remove the image from our own website and social pages as quickly as we reasonably can. Note that copies already re-shared or saved by other users are outside our control.

05Cookies & Tracking

06Who We Share It With

Access to your details is limited to the people and services that genuinely need it:

Our team — the stylists, therapists and front-desk staff serving you, on a need-to-know basis.

Analytics and advertising platforms — such as Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, where enabled, which receive website usage data as described in our Cookie Policy.
Professional advisers and authorities — our accountants, or a government or law-enforcement body, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Anything you tell us in confidence during a service stays between you and your stylist.

Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, our admin panel is password-protected with restricted access, and appointment records are stored on secured servers. Staff are instructed to keep client information confidential.

That said, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure. We take reasonable, industry-standard measures, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08How Long We Keep It

Appointment and service records — kept while you remain a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can serve you correctly if you return.
Enquiries and messages — kept until the matter is resolved, then archived.
Newsletter subscriptions — kept until you unsubscribe.
Billing records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

09Your Rights & Choices

You are in control of your information. You may ask us to:

Tell you what personal data of yours we hold.
Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
Delete your data, where we are not required by law to keep it.
Stop sending you promotional messages, emails or WhatsApp broadcasts.

Our website and online booking are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website. Children are welcome in the salon, but their appointments must be booked and attended by a parent or guardian, who provides consent for the service and for any information shared.

Our site links to Google Maps, Google Reviews, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Once you follow such a link you are on their platform, governed by their privacy policies — not ours. We are not responsible for how they handle your data.

12Changes to This Policy
